Help
How can we help?
Find a quick answer below. Still stuck? Get in touch and we'll help.
Getting started
Is it free?
Yes. Logging, shared care, nap and bedtime estimates, solids and the Singapore Parent Guide are free. We may offer optional paid extras later; the core features stay free.
Do I have to log everything?
No. Log what's useful and skip the rest; your baby and your own rest matter more. Nap estimates start from your baby's age, and days you skip show as gaps, never as zero.
Is there a web or computer version?
No. Newbie Parents is made for iPhone and Android phones.
Using the app
How do I change the daily milk goal?
Go to More, then Settings, then Family & household, and tap Milk goal. Only an Owner can change it. To hide the goal from Home, turn off Milk goal under Display in Settings.
My baby is dropping a nap. How do I update the plan?
Open the Next Nap card on Home and choose how many naps your baby takes now. Leave it on Auto if you'd like the app to follow your recent days instead.
Can I use ml and °C, or oz and °F?
Yes. Go to More, then Settings, then Units & formats. Choose metric or US units, or set milk, weight, length and temperature one by one.
Is there a dark mode?
Yes. The app follows your phone's setting, or you can pick Light or Dark under Display in Settings.
Family and sharing
How do I add my partner, helper or parents?
Go to More, then Settings, then Family & household, and tap Invite someone. Enter their email and choose what they can see. You'll get a private code to send them. It works for 7 days, and only with that email. They sign in with that email and choose Join family.
What can a helper see?
A Helper sees today's care, any running timer, and the latest feed, sleep and diaper, and can add routine records. They can't see long-term history, Insights or growth, and can only change their own entries for 24 hours.
Can we track twins, or more than one child?
Yes. An Owner can add another baby in Family & household in Settings. Each person picks which child they're looking at.
What happens to my entries if I leave a family?
You lose access straight away. Your account stays active, and the records you added stay with the family unless you later delete your account.
Health and guidance
Is this medical advice?
No. Newbie Parents keeps records and links to guidance from named sources. It doesn't diagnose or give medical advice. If you're worried about your baby's health, speak to a doctor. For a life-threatening emergency in Singapore, call 995.
Where does the guidance come from?
Singapore's public-health and hospital sources first, such as HealthHub and KKH. When they don't cover a topic, recognised bodies elsewhere, such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, and we say so. Every tip names its source.
Your account
How do I delete my account?
Go to More, then Settings, then Account settings and deletion. You'll lose access straight away, and we'll delete your account and live personal data within 30 days, including every care entry you added. More about account deletion
Who can see my family's records?
Only the people you invite. We don't sell personal data or use it for advertising. To see, correct or delete your personal data, email privacy@newbieparents.app from the address you use for Newbie Parents. Read the privacy policy
